Welcome to DC
I love living in the DC Metro area! Having been born and raised here in DC aka DMV(DC Maryland and Virginia) there are many things that go along with being from this area. Like how we replace our "ar" with "ur" and say curry instaed of carry or murry instead and marry urrea instead of area and Murrland instead of Maryland. The delicacy that we call Mambo Sauce that you get from the Chinese "Curryout" with wings and fried rice. And how you MUST be a Redskins fan or you are therefore deemed a traitor to the city! But also what makes DC special is our own special style of music, music know as go-go. Most people have heard it sampled in many main stream songs but it all started here. So with all that said here is one of my favorite go-go songs by the group UCB who plays for another go-go artist from DC by the name of Wale.
